Meet the founder
Rebecca is a running coach, CanRehab Cancer Exercise Specialist, Parkinson’s Run Specialist, and Occupational Therapist specialising in Palliative Care, passionate about improving health and wellbeing through inclusive, supportive fitness. She delivers running coaching, rehabilitation and prehabilitation exercise for people affected by cancer, and leads seated chair-exercise sessions for people living with chronic health conditions.
Rebecca started running at 34 to raise money for charity, beginning by running between lampposts and completing her first 10K just six weeks after her first parkrun. Living with fibromyalgia since 17, and having personally returned to activity after bowel surgery, she understands the challenges of starting or returning to exercise after health setbacks.
Rebecca has used running to support communities, starting a running group at a homeless shelter and launching local initiatives including GoodGym in Warwick and Leamington Spa, as well as 5K Your Way for people affected by cancer. Since relocating, she has helped bring 5K Your Way to Plymouth with the support of an incredible local community.
Rebecca is often found marshalling local races with a Bluetooth speaker, tutu and big bow, cheering runners on. She is always developing her knowledge and has recently completed several courses in disability sport. True to her love of running, she even attended parkrun in fancy dress on her wedding day.
